While most Blue Ridge students are out of school for the summer, there are 14 upcoming pre-K students who are currently getting used to walking their future school’s halls.
Blue Ridge has previously done a summer transition program where upcoming kindergarten students take part in the classes, but this is the first year for the younger group to have a turn.
The program is funded by Georgia’s Bright from the Start and runs June 5-July 16. The students in the class range from three to four years old and target ELL children. Continue reading
